Lindsay Clancy

She killed her three children.
This is really simple.
I don't think we need to hear from "expert" "psychologists" about how "complex" this is.
Kill the murdering bitch.
She committed murder, three times, to her own children, and so it should be done to her, just as she did it to her children, by strangulation. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
Enough with the psychology "this is complex" bullshit. It is really simple. She killed her own children. There is no excuse.
She deserves no sympathy or support.
Women who kill their children deserve no more sympathy than men who kill their children.

The missing support group:

In the 1980s I attended a Protestant church. There were three groups for adults: One for men, which consisted mainly of older men, one for women, consisting mainly of older women, and one co-ed group for young parents. Each group met weekly, the young parents group during Sunday School hour so their children would be taken care of while they met. In these groups sometimes the focus would be Bible study, but also people could talk about issues and any problems they were having, and ask for help if they needed it. In particular, in the young parents group, moms and dads could discuss issues that came up in child raising, from a Christian perspective. In addition to all that, Presbyterian churches have a formal, official, body, the Deacons, to assist people in the community, members or not, who need help.
Google Presbyterian Deacons to get an idea of what they do.

The point is, we didn't need a healthcare system to address many psychological issues, they could be addressed "in house."

I read that the Clancy's attended church, or Mass, only sporadically. I know next to nothing about what goes on in Catholic congregations, but could that have helped Lindsay solve her problems, helping her with the support she needed?

Another option for giving Mom a break from child watching, at least in my community, is the Mother's Day Out program. I wonder if there was one near Duxbury. Reading about Lindsay makes it sound that she felt stressed out.
Weren't there any day care programs near Duxbury?

On the other hand, there are reports that were Lindsay returne to work at MGH,, that MGH wanted her to work the night shift, which doesn't seem very accommodating to the needs of a mother of three preschool children, making it difficult to combine being the mother she wanted to be with working the night shift.

What Kevin Reddington has said about his client, Lindsay Clancy:

https://www.ctinsider.com/news/article/lindsay-clancy-murder-trial-analysis-22406507.php

"After Wednesday's [2026-08-26] proceedings Reddington told reporters that he "loved" Clancy and thought highly of her. "I love her," Reddington said. "She's just such a marvelous, sweet, innocent person. She's just amazing and so strong and trying so hard to get up from, she's been beat down for three-and-a-half years and she feels she's had a fair trial with the judge and the jury's been attentive and all we can do it hope for the best." Further thoughts:

Was too much expected of her?
To be a good mom to her kids, AND to earn an income to supplement that of her husband? Is this an impossible burden on any woman?

The protection kids need (and indeed are asking for)

We now frequently hear the slogan "Protect trans kids."
Well, "trans kids" aren't the only young people who deserve, and indeed are asking for, protection.

I just want to recognize and honor a few of those who have detransitioned, and spoken out about the horror they experienced:

What Ben-Givr said: "They shouldn’t live. They’re not even people."

See
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/israel-ben-gvir-gaza-netanyahu-kill-every-night/

That's what supporting Israel results in.

That is, in part, the product of AIPAC. I don't see how they can deny that.
If you "Stand with Israel" that is what you are standing with.

Let us recall: Israel is the Jewish state. Can anyone deny that?
Ben-Givr is a duly elected authority of that state. Thus Jews, to the extent they stand with Israel, must accept responsibility for what Ben-Givr said.

The bizarre affection for Ukraine

Why is it that so many Americans show a bizarre affection for Ukraine?
Do we Americans really need to side with Ukraine in its conflict with Russia?
I think not.
End support for Ukraine now!
End support for endless war!

Don't blame the patriarchy for transgenderism

It is fashionable in some circles, especially among some left-wing women, to blame the patriarchy for transgenderism.
But let's look at a key event, the decision in
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Virginia_v._B._P._J.?wprov=sfla1
(BPJ - Becky Pepper-Jsckson was, or is, one of the so-called "trans women"
https://www.aclu.org/bios/becky-pepper-jackson .)
Three justices voted for BPJ (Kagan, Sotomayor, and Jackson). They sure don't look like members of the patriarchy. If so they are in very deep disguise.
On the other hand, ALL FIVE of the male justices voted against BPJ.
How does the "The patriarchy is behind transgenderism" crowd respond to that? By asserting the patriarchy somehow controls the three female justices who voted for BPJ, but can't control any of the five male justices who voted against BPJ? What a joke.

If you need more evidence, consider the two political parties, the Republican and Democratic.
It is the Democratic Party which leads in gaining support from women. And of course it is also the Democratic Party which is all but solidly pro-transender. Is the Democratic Party the party of patriarchy? Ha!

I totally agree that men should not be in spaces traditionally reserved for women, whether that be a rest room, changing room, locker room, female-only sports league, or whatever. But who is pushing for this?

There are plenty of women promoting transgenderism:
Megan Rapinoe
Sue Bird
Billie Jean King
"Billie Jean King, Megan Rapinoe, and Candace Parker Join Nearly 200 Athletes Supporting Trans Youth Participation in Sports" - Women's Sports Foundation https://share.google/yGWE6lW79iFKSb3JI
a whole cohort in the WNBA,
and in the political sphere,
Kamala Harris
Laura Kelly
Kelly Ayotte
Maura Healey among others.

To blame transgenderism on the patriarchy is a bum rap.

Again, does this look like the patriarchy?

"Inclusion" versus fairness

From the proponents of transgenderism we hear calls for "inclusion."
But how about basic fairness?
Is allowing males, of whatever age, to compete with women in sports fair to the women?
Of course having a distinction between men and women is discriminitary. It discriminates between people based on sex.
But that reflects an undeniable reality: men, on the average, have physical superiority over women.
Just compare Olympic world records, in many categories, of those held by men to those held by women.

So the fundamental question here is:
Is allowing men to compete in physical sports with women fair to the women? Of course not.

Endless spending on transgenderism

A glaring example is the spending John Walker Flynt desires be spent on him, for his seemingly endless desires to change his body from its natural state.
Should the American public have to pay for these endless surgeries?
I certainly think not.

There is no "human right" for endless spending to satisfy a person's fantasies.

For background on who John Flynt is, see
https://open.substack.com/pub/kathighsmith/p/the-reasonable-troon-brianna-wu-and

We know our transgenderists: they just can't get enough spending on medical procedures for transgenders.
