The Reagan-era congressman and OMB director David A. Stockman
has moved from government service to work on Wall Street to become a blogger (and "a relentless Wall Street bear").
Some of his posts in the era of Trump seem, to me, to be really outstanding.
Unfortunately, his posts at his personal blog,

require logging in, and evidently a subscription fee, to read them,
I presume because many of them deal with economic matters
and I presume he feels they are worth money to those who might read them
and therefore he can justify charging for them.
