Where equality and empathy are lacking

First, on equality.

In many discussions of "transgender girls" playing on girls sports teams the emphasis is on the effect this decision will have on the "transgender girl."

Note the lack of equality.

The effect of the decision on real, true girls is ignored.

"Not important."

The same issue applies to empathy.

We are supposed to be empathetic to the "transgender girl," but not to the real, true girls who are adversely affected by allowing the "transgender girl" to play on their sports team.

This is insanity

The idea that we, the U.S. and the Europeans, by aiding Ukraine in increasing its attacks on the Russian homeland will FORCE the Russians to the bargaining table.

No, the Russians have another option:

retaliation, either by increasing Russian attacks on Ukraine or even on pressure points in Europe.

It is complete insanity to ignore the very real possibility that we are goading Russia into further escalation.

John Mearsheimer spends the first 10 minutes of this June 30, 2026 interview emphasizing the risks the West is running in aiding Ukraine in striking deep into Russia:

This is not just great power competition. This is direct physical attack on the Russian homeland. How long will it be before the Russians retaliate?
