This is insanity

The idea that we, the U.S. and the Europeans, by aiding Ukraine in increasing its attacks on the Russian homeland will FORCE the Russians to the bargaining table.

No, the Russians have another option:

retaliation, either by increasing Russian attacks on Ukraine or even on pressure points in Europe.

It is complete insanity to ignore the very real possibility that we are goading Russia into further escalation.
