Read the sad story of
Foote v. Ludlow
All powerful transgenderism!
Reading a little about what courts have said, they have bought into the "gender identity" fraud.
Our federal courts have folded for transgenderism?
In this case they have.
How terrible!
What a disaster.
When will this abomination end?
See

This is an absolute abomination - not being able to tell men from women.
That is not a matter of "identity", but of biology and reality.
How much longer must we endure this absolute depravity of transgenderism?

Problems with both Israel and Iran
I think both of them are making big mistakes.
I agree with the American left that Israel is making huge mistakes in its treatment of Gaza, which sure looks like an attempt to destroy its infrastructure and force its Muslim inhabitants to leave it so Israel can take it over and make it part of Israel.
I agree with the American right that Iran should never have the possibility of building a nuclear weapon.
I think both parties should abandon the programs mentioned above (in the case of Iran that means abandoning the enrichment of uranium).
It is too simple to criticize only one side.
Transgender violence
See

There is, astoundingly,
https://www.reddit.com/r/transguns
Let us be clear:
Robert Dorgan was not defending himself.
He carried out a deliberate, intensional attack on his ex-wife and her parents.
Would this have happened if Dorgan did not have the mental disorder, IMO, that is transgenderism?
An open question.

For a transgender support group that is openly encouraging violence, see
"Trans activist group issues guide to ‘rarely legal’ direct action"

"A militant transgender activist group has issued a “direct action” guide to members, urging them to arm themselves and carry out repeated illegal attacks on MPs and organisations."

Advocating uniformity of thought
Consider a number of issues, more exactly, specific positions on those of issues:
pro-feminist, anti-capitalist, pro-choice, pro-queer, pro-children, pro-trans, pro-marxism
Here we see seven issues and seven positions on those issues.
If someone takes one of those positions, why should that person take the other six positions on that list?
To my mind those are seven independent issues.
(Although of course there is an almost by definition relation between Marxism and opposition to capitalism.)
Well, some people are arguing that those are not independent issues, but are somehow magically linked.
They use the word "intersectionality" to describe this.
See
https://substack.com/@twiggets/note/c-243511030?r=3fzt75
"feminism is anti-capitalist, is pro-choice, pro-queer, pro-children, pro-trans, pro-marxism, pro-awareness. the minute you remove one, something is off. it’s all or nothing, feminism is intersectional!"
So if you are a feminist, you have to take all those positions?
Well, okay, if that's what women want to believe, who I to tell them otherwise.
For a further discussion of this situation, see
https://substack.com/@writesobereditsober/note/c-243624314?r=3fzt75
I find some of these discussions slightly amazing.
I guess I just don't get it.

Redemption or conquest?
There is a certain basic conflict:
Should the Zionist conquest of Palestine be viewed as an act of redemption or as an act of conquest?
2026-04-11
America First or Israel First?
That is the basic question.
And no one should claim that that is not a valid question.
MAGA (Make America Great Again) or MIG (Make Israel Great)?
As to Jewish issues, I totally appreciate that there are differences within the Jewish community.
I am aware of Norman Finkelstein, Phillip Weiss, Medea Benjamin, and Max Blumenthal.
But I am also aware of the positions of major Jewish organizations, such as the ADL.
How many say:
"We stand with Israel"?
Do they acknowledge the implications of that position?
The financialization of sex
The destruction of genitals.
Is anyone profiting from this?
You bet they are.
What we have seen is a whole marketing ploy:
"Hey kids, there is something wrong with your body.
Go rush to complain about it,
and have a whole industry 'Correct it.' You know, 'Gender affirmation!' "
If this isn't sick, I don't know what is.
In the 1950s, we had attractive adults promoting cigarette smoking, and a whole industry profiting from the resulting sales, without worrying about its adverse health effects.
Now we have adults, who really should know better, promoting transgenderism, and a whole industry profiting from that promotion, without the slightest indication or warning of its adverse effects.
This is utterly sick.
The medical and professional associations that are enabling this are utterly sick, and should be ashamed of themselves.
If transgenderism has been detrimental to society, who must share in the blame? Those associations.
That's just my opinion.

Norman Finkelstein was right
There was a debate years ago between Norman Finkelstein and Alan Dershowitz, Jeffrey Epstein's lawyer.
For background, see one of my favorite books,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beyond_Chutzpah?wprov=sfla1
Leaving other issues aside, I think we should acknowledge that Finkelstein was entirely right on the issues.

Bearing responsibility
Why is America in this war with Iran, after so many other involvements in the Middle East?
There is one fundamental reason: Israel.
It is American support for Israel that has led to this situation.
Americans who have supported Israel must bear significant responsibility for the current situation.
Do supporters of Israel accept any responsibility for the current situation?
They should.
Support for Israel has brought about this situation.
My position:
No more wars for Israel!
Question:
Does the mere existence of Israel mean perpetual wars?
I think that is a valid question.

Doctors and the left wing
Generally, medicine and politics are separate.
Who gets cancer or heart disease has little to do with political issues.
But now we see medical organizations claiming, in effect, that the general public should pay for unending support for "transgenders".
Hello?
This is a real burden on society.
Do you care about that?
Should transgender identification be viewed as a mental illness or a treatable physical condition?
There are broad implications of that, which you should realize.
The fact is that "medical decisions" have consequences far beyond an individual patient.
Now we see many women pointing out that biological men are invading their sports competitions, restrooms, or locker rooms.
Who has enabled that invasion?
Medical associations.
We must not ignore their culpability in what has happened.
Do doctors want to become stooges of the left?
This whole transgender ideology is coming from the left.
The medical associations are quite simply enablers of the transgender pathology.

A suggestion for resolving the Iran problem
It requires two steps, which should be performed as simultaneously as possible:
1.The Iranians should give up their supply of highly enriched, near weapons-grade uranium, and submit to intrusive inspections to insure they don't reconstitute it.
Also, they should fully and unconditionally open the Strait of Hormuz to international traffic.
2. All sanctions currently imposed on Iran should be ended, and not reimposed as long as Iran satisfies the conditions mentioned above.
Also, appropriate reparations should be paid to compensate Iran for the severe harm that has been caused to it by the kinetic strikes on it from the U.S. and Israel.
ANALYSIS:
Neither side would get everything that it wants.
But each side would get something of value that it wants.
Under the circumstances, I think that is the best and most achievable solution to a difficult problem.
A compromise.
A counter-argument would observe that
"Forces allied with Iran, sometimes called 'Iran's proxies', have killed American forces in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon."
But what were American forces doing in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon in the first place?
Does America really need troops in those countries?
I don't think so.
As to why some Iranians chant "Death to America," listen to what Larry Johnson says here:
https://youtu.be/EJO40SI_em8?t=7m40s
What is preventing a peaceful settlement of this conflict?
Here are some theories.
