Where equality and empathy are lacking

First, on equality.

In many discussions of "transgender girls" playing on girls sports teams the emphasis is on the effect this decision will have on the "transgender girl."

Note the lack of equality.

The effect of the decision on real, true girls is ignored.

"Not important."

The same issue applies to empathy.

We are supposed to be empathetic to the "transgender girl," but not to the real, true girls who are adversely affected by allowing the "transgender girl" to play on their sports team.
