Stop "the Guardians" appellation

Look, if the USG wants to create a "Space Force", 

I see no problem there.

But what should its members be called?

I think the term "Guardians" is highly inappropriate.

Lots of people in the U.S. deserve that title, starting with our police forces.

Why should members of the Space Force receive that title?

Would "Space Soldiers" be appropriate?

I don't know,  but please don't annoint them with the titles "Guardians".

That disrespects too many other worthy groups.
