Understanding Gaza

The October 7, 2023 attack from Gaza on Israel

brought the world's attention to Gaza.

Supporters of Israel have tried to keep the world's attention on the acts of the attackers, 

and away from what might have motivated them to perform their acts.

It seems to me that comparatively little attention has been paid to those possible motivations.

As it happens, back in 2018, five years before the attack, 

Norman Finkelstein wrote a whole book on the most unfortunate situation in Gaza:

I think it is well worth taking a look at, 

to understand what might have motivated the attackers.
