My suggestion for resolving the Iran crisis

Iran agrees to give up enriching uranium, and allows verification that it is living up to that commitment.

In return, the West drops its sanctions on Iran, and Israel abandons any efforts to bring about Iranian regime change.

That would leave both sides unhappy, not getting all that they want.
But the alternatives are worse, for both sides.

--------

Some argue regime change in Iran is necessary
because Iran is a major sponsor of terrorism.
But some deny that assertion.
For example, Larry Johnson has published several posts arguing that Iran is not a major sponsor of terrorism:

IS IRAN A MAJOR SPONSOR OF TERRORISM?
The short answer is, “no!”  https://share.google/6XXxtrDjTsZicemrB

----------

Before a nation bombs another nation, it is crucial to anticipate how the bombed nation will likely react.
If the U.S. bombs Iran, it is very possible, if not likely, that Iran will respond by closing the Strait of Hormuz.
That would impose very large consequences on the world economy.

If energy costs skyrocket in America,
you can be sure there will be plenty of finger pointing as to what/who caused that rise.
