The 9/11 cover-up

One of the most troublesome aspects of American life since the 2001-09-11 attacks
has been
the extent to which the motivation for that attack has been covered up.
This cover-up directly leads to the perceived (by some) need to control Muslim territory,
to prevent Muslims from having "a base of operations" for further attacks.
