To what extent is the current nation of Israel the result of Yahweh?

I don't think we should ignore that question.

That question could be strictly academic, but unfortunately we are seeing real world consequences of one answer to that question.

The existence of Israel has serious geopolitical consequences.

Some Jews say they have a right to that land.

(What they self-aggrandizingly call "redemption.")
