Quantification error

What is quantification error?
At the most basic level, it is ignoring the difference between "some" and "all".
In the most classical example, from Aristotelian logic,
ignoring the difference between
"Some animals are men" and
"All animals are men".
The first statement is true, the second false,
counterexamples being all animals which are not men.
